Help - accessibility information

This webpage is designed and built in a way to meet the WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility criteria. This means that we have used specific technological resources in order to help people with various disabilities to access our webpage.

In addition to that, further improving site's accessibility is possible by configuring your computer on both browser and operating system levels.

A more thorough guide is available on http://www.abilitynet.org.uk/mcmw/. Should you have any problems, feel free to contact us onriigikantselei [at] riigikantselei.ee!

Navigating with the keyboard

This webpage entirely navigatable by only using your keyboard. The navigation is done by using the Tab key. With every press on the key, the focus is moved on to the next element. The currently active element is in a different colour and marked by a box around it. In order to activate the link in focus, you must press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Zooming

Zooming in function is present in most of the modern popular browsers and is accessible by holding down the CTRL key (Cmd key in the OS X operating systems) and pressing either the + or - key. Another way is to use your mouse and hold down CTRL and scrolling your scrolling wheel either up or down. Reseting your zoom back to normal is done by pressing CTRL and 0 at the same time.

In Windows 7 you can find a program called Magnifier by pressing the Start button, typing in Magnifier and pressing Enter. A little window where everything is zoomed in will open up. The program will follow your cursor by default.

In Windows XP you can find Magnifier by pressing Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier

On Apple machines you can zoom in by going to Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom

Using a screen reader

A screen reader is a program which interprets what is written on the screen and then tries to give that information back as audio. This is foremost meant for people who are visually impaired.

The data on this website is built so that various screen reader programs can read any time of information and then present it as audio.
